Fintechs for Ukraine

Welcome to Fintechs for Ukraine. We are a community of fintech businesses united in supporting those in urgent need as a result of the conflict.

The world continues to watch in horror as the crisis in Ukraine unfolds in real-time. Now, people from all walks of life are coming together to call for an immediate ceasefire and peace in the region.

Many lives have already been lost with more than 6 million Ukrainians being forced to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighboring countries. Sadly, these numbers are only set to rise.  Nobody in Ukraine is safe and the humanitarian crisis shows no sign of ending any time soon.

That’s why we’ve launched ‘Fintechs for Ukraine’, a fundraising appeal specifically for the influential UK and European fintech community. We have many fintech colleagues and peers living and working in Ukraine and it is our hope that the industry can come together to support the Ukrainian people at this difficult time.

We’re asking businesses in the fintech community to help the crisis and donate to our appeal. If you’re not able to donate, we’d still urge you to pledge your support by publicizing the campaign across your social media pages to help us spread this important message.

We’re under no illusions that the money we raise will be able to solve the crisis alone, but we know the amazing things that the fintech community can achieve when we come together and provide much needed support to the Ukrainian people in their moment of need.

Of course, if you’re not involved in the fintech sector, but would still like to donate to this campaign, then please do. Ukraine’s brave population needs your  help as they battle to survive and defend the nation’s sovereignty and democratic order.
